My observations about India (Akash in his own words)

My trip to India was great. Here are my observations about India.

I saw snakes and then last night when I was coming from my neighbor's house, I saw a frog leap over my legs and also saw cockroaches. I also saw deers, monkeys, and I saw peacocks (white and the regular color).

There is lots of traffic in India. There is lots of stores. Mostly I like all the types of vehicles in India and in India there are 3 new vehicles you won't find in Canada. One is a scooter, lorry and an an auto. There are lots of temples, history and in India the more you dig the more you get treasure. You find lots of rock structures that are very old.

One more thing, autos do not have 4 but 3 wheels. Scooters are in the bike family hence 2 wheels. In Canada people drive on the right side of the road. In India people drive on the left side. Lorries are a type of truck that have a big tank at the back usually filled with water. They look like a cement mixer but very cylindrical.

In India all the floors are rock but not wooden. Wooden floors are very unusual in India. Some people when they go out they go with bare feet.

I have 4 cousins in india and my neighbor's house is my grandma's brother and I go there every day. Some days I go there to play some games. There is a new game you won't find in Canada it's called carrom board. You can buy them in Canada.

In India it is very hot because it is very close to the equator which you can't see. This is the reason you see lots of mosquitoes here. There is a temple and that temple's name is the street community name - devi karumari Amman. One of the alleys near the temple is called Golden Avenue and that's where my grandparents live. In that street there are some kids that I play with, a game called cricket. People in Canada don't know cricket. That's a new game for Canadians. The kids names are Mahesh, Sringesh, Hari and Ishan.

In Canada there are dogs that owners have. In India there are lots of dogs running around in the road that people don't take home because if you disturb them they might bite you. So that's why people don't take the dogs home.

In India there are little bit road rules but it is very fun for kids because sometimes the kids get to sit in the front seat of a car and sometimes kids don't have to wear their seat belts. There are lots of jewelry stores that give coffee, milk, and fanta that are free.
